Moving to a New Realm
After long and difficult deliberations, we’ve decided to migrate this site to ShannonThomas.Org. Registration and commenting have been shut down here, and in the next week or so, all content will be migrated to Shannon’s home site. This site will remain here, but all new content and comments will be posted at ShannonThomas.Org. If you have user accounts at both sites, your comments will be (in theory) moved to ShannonThomas.Org and accredited to your account there. If you only had an account here, you will have a duplicate account created at ShannonThomas.Org. Please dont see this as a bad event. Shannon hopes the move will allow him to focus more on writing and less on website administration. More time for writing means more time for new content. Also, all of Shannon’s writing wil lnow be in one place, so visitors won’t have to skip around cyberspace. This page will be updated one last time, when the migration is complete.
Meet the Heretic
Warlock’s Wake and Heretic are the first two fantasy novels written by Shannon Thomas. They’re part of an emerging series entitled The Heretic’s Quest.
Shannon has loved fantasy stories since he learned to read, but as he grew older, he found most popular fantasy was too tame. If fantasy stories were rated like movies, most would be PG-13, and Shannon thought a R-rated fantasy story would be appreciated by enough adults to make it a worthwhile endeavor.
The result is a series that will take you to a place you’ve never been, and you won’t want to come back until you’ve read every word.
The Heretic’s Quest is not Harry Potter or hobbits or magical wardrobes. It is something new, a story that intrigues men and women alike. It entices readers that don’t even normally read or enjoy the fantasy genre, because the characters, actions, and consequences are so true to life.
This is a story you must not miss.
